Juan C. Bianchi

Juan C. Bianchi is the Executive Vice President and Chief Executive Officer of the Money Transfer Segment at Euronet Worldwide, Inc. (NASDAQ: EEFT) which includes the brands Ria Money Transfer and XE. Through these companies the segment provides C2C and B2B money transfer services and currency exchange data to customers and businesses worldwide.

In addition to driving the global strategy, Juan is responsible for the overall financial and operational performance of the segment. He is experienced in leading multi-cultural business, sales and operations teams to success and played a pivotal role in the acquisition and integration of HiFX in 2014 and IME and XE in 2015.

Juan has more than 25 years’ experience in the money transfer industry beginning his career at Associated Foreign Exchange (AFEX) in Chile in 1992. In 1996, he moved to the U.S. to join AFEX USA operations. While at AFEX, first as Assistant General Manager and then as General Manager, the company grew from processing 5,000 money transfer transactions per month to 300,000 per month. Subsequently, Juan became the Chief Operating Officer of AFEX-Ria in 2003 and was also instrumental in integrating the two companies. Juan studied business at the Universidad Andres Bello in Chile and completed the Executive Program in Management at UCLA's John E. Anderson School of Business.

Shawn Fielder

Shawn Fielder is the Chief Executive Officer of Ria Financial Services, the money transfer division of Euronet Worldwide Inc. He is responsible for Ria’s global operations, including financial reporting, planning and analytics, treasury and FX trading functions. Prior to joining Ria in 2012, Shawn spent ten years founding and leading Euronet’s tax department. As Vice President of Tax, based in Budapest, Hungary, Shawn was responsible for the global tax position of Euronet’s operations in nearly 40 countries, including international tax compliance, tax planning and corporate structuring, cash repatriation and worldwide tax provisioning and financial statement reporting. Prior to joining Euronet, Shawn held tax leadership positions at Arthur Andersen and Deloitte and served as Tax Director of Aerie Networks, a start-up broadband company. Shawn received a BS in Finance and Accounting from Missouri State University and lives with his wife and two children in Los Angeles, California.In addition to driving the global strategy, Juan is responsible for the overall financial and operational performance of the segment. John Ashton

Chief Information Officer

John Ashton

John Ashton is the Chief Information Officer of Ria Financial Services, the money transfer division of Euronet Worldwide, Inc. John oversees systems worldwide, including development and infrastructure, with teams in the United States, Europe and Asia. John has a background in systems and finance, having designed and developed systems for money transfer, corporate foreign exchange and other financial service industries. In 1996 he wrote the system for AFEX (corporate foreign exchange), in 2001 the system for AFEX Money Express (AFEX division for money transfers) and then in 2002 the system for Ria. Prior to working with AFEX and Ria, John was Director of Finance and Administration for GT Italia, the CFO of Continental Savings, and Manager of Capital Markets Activities at the FHLB of San Francisco. John received a BA in Economics from UCLA and lives in Los Angeles.
William E. Waugh, CAMS

William E. Waugh, CAMS

William E. Waugh is Chief Compliance Officer of Ria Financial Services, the money transfer division of Euronet Worldwide, Inc. He oversees the compliance and regulatory activities for the global network of companies. Bill’s primary responsibility is to safeguard the assets of Euronet from the risk of providing services to parties who may seek to use the financial system for illicit or illegal purposes. He also oversees the licensing and reporting requirements for regulated jurisdictions Bill has over 13 years of experience in compliance and regulatory affairs with Ria and Associated Foreign Exchange (AFEX). He started with AFEX in 1999 and AFEX subsequently merged with Ria in 2005. Prior to his current appointment, Bill served as Vice President of Regulatory Affairs with responsibility for regulatory, tax, insurance and risk management. Prior to joining Ria, Bill served for over 9 years in key management positions for the Boeing company (fka McDonnell Douglas). Bill also has professional experience as an Accountant with Continental Airlines, as a Corporate Banking Specialist with Wells Fargo, and as an Accountant with Deloitte & Touche.
Larry Fogelson

Larry Fogelson

Larry Fogelson is Vice President of Global Correspondent Business Development of Ria Financial Services, the money transfer division of Euronet Worldwide Inc. Prior to joining Ria in 2007, Larry served as Director of Euronet Payments and Remittance Services, bringing more than 20 years of financial services and payments industry experience to Euronet and then to Ria. Prior to joining Euronet, Larry spent 20 years with First Data Corporation, serving in senior management positions at First Data’s two largest business units, Western Union Financial Services and First Data Merchant Services. During his 16 years at Western Union, Larry served as General Counsel and then Chief Operating Officer of Western Union International. At First Data Merchant Services, Larry served as Senior VP of Operations. Prior to joining First Data, Larry was an attorney at Weil, Gotschal & Manges in New York City. Larry received a JD degree from the Washington College of Law at American University and a BS degree from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Rosario Escarpita

Rosario Escarpita

Rosario Escarpita is the Managing Director for the Americas of Ria Financial Services, the money transfer division of Euronet Worldwide Inc. She is responsible for the development and expansion of Ria’s products, services and network in this hemisphere. Rosario leads a team of professionals in the areas of Business Development, Marketing, Sales, Products and Revenue Management for North, Central and South America including the Caribbean. Rosario has more than 18 years of experience in the money transfer industry. She joined Ria in 2010 as Vice President Agent Sales for the United States where her results oriented attitude and work ethics was instrumental in growing the money transfer revenues and transactions in the United States by double digits. Prior to joining Ria, Rosario was the Vice President of National Sales for GroupEx Money Transfer where she worked for over 10 years.

Jose Cabral

Jose Cabral is Managing Director of Europe for Ria Money Transfer, part of the money transfer segment of Euronet Worldwide Inc. (NASDAQ: EEFT). He is responsible for the European business strategy, revenue and sales management. Before then, he served as Country Manager for Ria France. During his tenure, he grew transactions more than seven times during the course of seven years, leaving behind a strong legacy of team spirit and commitment. Prior to joining Ria, Jose held positions as Sales Director, Business Development and Finance Manager for Spain and Portugal within the money transfer industry. Jose studied at Buckinghamshire Business School of Brunel University and holds an Honours degree in Business Administration and a Master in International Business. Holding a dual citizenship French and Portuguese, he is also fluent in English and Spanish.
Manuel Villena

Managing Director Middle East

Manuel Villena

Manuel Villena is the Managing Director for the Middle East at Ria, the money transfer division of Euronet Worldwide, Inc. (NASDAQ: EEFT). He oversees the sales, finances, and operations in this region and has held the position since 2015. Manuel joined Ria in 2006 serving first as the European Finance Director and then as Business Development Director for several regions. In his Business Development role, he was responsible for the expansion and growth of Ria’s African business, including the management of Ria’s hub in Dakar, Senegal; Benelux (Belgium-Netherlands-Luxembourg), the Nordic countries (Sweden-Norway-Denmark-Finland) and Cyprus. Since 2002, Manuel has worked in the money transfer industry and previously held the position of Finance Director for Telegiros S.A. Manuel also has experience in the Chemical Industry business. He holds an MBA in International Business and Business Administration from ESADE University, Spain.
Espen Kristensen

Managing Director Asia Pacific

Espen Kristensen

Espen Kristensen is Managing Director Asia Pacific of Ria Financial Services, the money transfer division of Euronet Worldwide, Inc. (NASDAQ: EEFT). Espen has been an integral part of the Ria organization since 2008 when he joined the company. He oversees sales, finance and operations of Ria in Asia Pacific. He is also serving as CEO of Malaysian based money transfer company IME. Prior to his current role, Espen was Country Manager of Ria in the Nordic countries. He has gained more than 13 years of experience in positions of increasing responsibility within the money transfer industry starting in London, UK. Subsequently Espen relocated to Stockholm, Sweden when he was made responsible for operations in the Nordic countries. Espen is a Master of Laws degree holder from Bond University in Queensland, Australia focusing on e-Cash, International Trade and Advanced Commercial Negotiations. Espen is also a Master of Laws degree holder from University of Oslo, Norway. He has completed training courses within finance and marketing at BI Norwegian Business School. Espen lives with his wife and two children in Kuala Lumpur. He was relocated to Malaysia in 2013 to take part in the Due Diligence of IME that was acquired by Euronet in 2015.
